About Us

Patrick O’Neill

Patrick grew up in Toronto, ON and as a teenager moved west to explore and adventure in the Rockies. Afterward, Patrick graduated from Thompson Rivers University where he fell in love with climbing and skiing. Over a decade later, Patrick has been lucky enough to travel and climb all over the world while calling Revelstoke home.

Leah Poirier

Leah was born in Barrie, Ontario, and has always loved all things outside, especially rocks. She pursued her love for the outdoors and moved to Thunder Bay, Ontario to attend the Outdoor Recreation, Parks, and Tourism program at Lakehead University where she enjoyed the fantastic rock and ice climbing there. She now calls Revelstoke home year-round and is a teacher who just completed her Master’s of Education for Change, specializing in environmental sustainability and Indigenous education. She is on the Revelstoke Access Climbers Society board and has guided kids’ climbing camps for many years.

Together

Patrick and Leah are a passionate climbing couple who have traveled the world exploring world-class rock climbing destinations including Thailand, New Zealand, Australia, the United States, Greece, Croatia, and Mexico. They have reached many of their climbing goals together and love projecting hard (for them) grades and training. Together, calling Revelstoke home for over a decade, they are excited to make their dream of opening a climbing gym come true and contribute more to the climbing community. Both strongly value community, inclusivity, and the environment that provides us with our ultimate playground.
